We’re Sheryl & Ryan. Two people roasting world class coffee in rural Wisconsin that believe great coffee sparks even greater things.
Nordskov began as a backyard experiment with a popcorn popper and a lot of curiosity. Three years later, we’re roasting small-batch coffee in rural Wisconsin making high-quality coffee feel approachable, not exclusive. Whether it’s helping people dial in their at home brew or serving the best coffee we know how to make at the Janesville Farmers Market.
Our roots run deep in the Midwest. We both grew up in small towns, then spent years working for big companies in big cities. Eventually, we traded hustle for hygge. Returning to nature, reconnecting with each other, and diving headfirst into coffee. We now live and roast in southern Wisconsin, inspired by Scandinavian design and slow, intentional living.
At Nordskov, we roast coffee in the Nordic style - lighter, cleaner profiles that highlight the natural sweetness and subtle flavors in each coffee. Our goal is to bring out the best in the bean, whether it’s for your morning brew or your afternoon cold coffee.
Cold coffee has become our specialty. Not just because we love drinking it, but because we believe it’s one of the most refreshing and under-celebrated ways to experience great coffee. In late 2025, we’re opening a dedicated space for brewing and packaging cold coffee. It’s part brewery, part workshop, and 100% built around brewing cold coffee that’s anything but ordinary.
We’re proud to be a part of our community, popping up at local farmers markets, collaborating with nearby makers, and connecting over coffee with people who believe in building something meaningful.
